Has Dubai’s bubble burst?

It’s been a long time coming, but it finally appears that the bubble has well and truly burst for Dubai if the rumour grapevine is to be believed.

With spiralling costs of food, accommodation and services, and double-digit inflation, certainly since 2002, when Dubai began selling real estate to expatriates, it was only a matter of time before the situation became economically unviable and a painful correction was inevitable.

As a result of all this continuing flux, we have made the decision not to publish Living and working in Dubai second edition.
